Expanding Access to Eye Care
Since 2003, our purpose-built hospital has been providing free eye care to people who cannot afford it. Your donation will help expand our facilities, enabling more sight-restoring surgeries and specialist eye care for those who would otherwise face blindness.

How You Empower Lives
Success Stories
Zainab, Lahore
Zainab is back in school
Cataract is often associated with old age. But Zainab was only six when cataract began blurring her vision.
Her family was living in poverty and couldn’t afford the surgery she needed. Her worsening sight meant she could no longer attend school.
Sight for Life provided her sight-restoring surgery free of charge.
Today, Zainab is back in school and seeing the world again. She wants to be a teacher.
Zainab is just one child. Millions more like her are still waiting for the eye care they need.
Malik Alam, Vehari
Malik is back at work
Malik worked as a daily wage labourer in Vehari to support his family of six and was their sole breadwinner. An accident at work led to complications and cataract, taking away his sight and his ability to earn.
Unable to afford the treatment he needed, Malik struggled to provide for his family.
Our Vision on Wheels programme informed him about our free surgical services. After receiving sight-restoring surgery, his vision is improving and he is looking forward to returning to work and earning with dignity.
Your support can help more people like Malik regain their sight, independence.

What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers. This means your donations can be worth 25% more at no extra cost to you. For example, a £50 donation could become £62.50 with Gift Aid. To qualify, you must pay at least as much Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the tax year as the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations.
